From the Daily Telegraph, 27 August 2021:

‘A monument to the Duke of Wellington has been restored by the National Trust to a better state than it was left in by Victorian builders. The charity has overseen a £3.1 million project to correct workmanship on the 175ft obelisk in Somerset, before which pieces of masonry were at risk of falling off. The tallest three-sided obelisk in the world, the monument was built in 1854.’
